Local historian and former Frisco employee Don Harrison spoke to an audience of about thirty people at today's Lunch 'n Learn session, hosted by the Morton Museum of Collierville History. Don covered the early years of the railroads in and around the Memphis area and their importance both locally and nationally. The information he provided can be a great inspiration to us model railroaders, especially those of us modeling scenes from the area.
Another railroad-themed Lunch 'n Learn, one covering getting started in model railroading, is planned for September 14th at 11 am in the museum sanctuary. The museum is located at 196 Main Street in Collierville.
