Bluff City Benders is a Memphis-based N-scale modular model railroad club.
Our members have always enjoyed getting together to talk and help each other with bench work, wiring, laying track, scenery, running trains; actually anything that has to do with trains regardless of its scale (including 1:1). We have no monthly scheduled meetings since we are a small club. |
We typically set up a layout and run trains three or four times a year, usually at a train show. We will meet a week or two before a show to coordinate layout size, modules that will be attending, times and travel plans.
There are no club modules. We encourage members to own their own module(s). Some members create modules from scratch while others will acquire one from someone else. The club does not have an official storage facility, so the modules are the responsibility of the individual to maintain, store and transport.
