Modeling the L&N Memphis Line in N Scale

Meeting times

Wednesday: 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Welcome to Mid-South Rail Runners! We are building and operating an N-scale model of the old L&N Memphis Line that once linked Memphis, Tennessee with Memphis Junction, a point just south of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

  • 40'x110' in size
  • C/MRI & VB 6 for layout control
  • JMRI Operations for tracking car movements
  • Digitrax for locomotive control
Our main focus is on realistic operations, and to this end we have designed our railroad to accurately reflect the major land features and industries that railroad operators and train crews would have encountered along this 260-mile line.
