About usWelcome to the Casey Jones Chapter of the Train Collectors Association! Our mission is to preserve and promote the hobby of collecting and operating toy trains in our local communities. Our chapter dates back to 1979 and has been a part of the Cottonbelt Division since the division was formed in 1988. Most of our members live in or near the Greater Memphis Area, though our chapter covers all of western Tennessee and northern Mississippi.
Our primary focus is on collecting and operating Standard, O and S gauge toy trains. These trains range from whimsical tinplate toys to miniature scale reproductions of the real thing. We are part of one of the most recognized organizations in the hobby devoted to the collecting and preservation of these great trains and the continued growth and success of the hobby. Many Memphis-area chapter members also belong to the Casey Jones Hi-railers, a local three-rail O gauge model railroading and layout-building group. |

The Casey Jones Chapter hosts five train shows per year in the Memphis area. They usually occur on the first Saturday of October, December, February, April and June. Shows provide an opportunity to see toy trains in action and purchase items from TCA members. Their main purpose is to enable members and enthusiasts to participate in the collecting aspect of the hobby. They are also an important way to introduce new people to the hobby. The Chapter strives to make sure the shows offer something for everyone.
